This is definitely in my top 3 cinemas after Showcase in Southampton and Winnersh! I didn’t see it before the refit but I can tell it was done to an excellent standard and looks so fresh and clean! I came a few nights ago to watch Whitney on its opening night and was surprised t see that we were the only people who purchased tickets, that didn’t bother us as we had a delightful time with the screen to ourselves! It was such an amazing and eye opening film and I am shocked it hasn’t been more popular! The seats are very comfortable and it’s great to have a recliner at such a good price with a table and everything! Picture and sound quality were top notch, not the best I’ve heard but good enough not to notice and to have a good time. My only downfall - which is where the star was lost - will be that some of the staff I cam across were very rude and abrupt and the food and drinks are the most expensive I have found in a cinema!!! However, this will not stop me from returning to such a great cinema, I will just remember to bring my own snacks next time! 😊
The seats are really lovely. Leather and recliners. The staff are very friendly. Can be hit and miss as to whether or not we receive a carer discount as my partner is visually impaired. Some cashiers tell us it is not a policy of Vue while others say it is. Have even had the manager tell us that it was something that needed to be dealt with through the council. The toilets are nice and are kept to a good level of cleanliness. Tickets can be very expensive but the same at each cinema these days.

The Haymarket is a nice, intimate theatre. It also has leg room. As a tall person, I'm finding it increasingly difficult to attend performances at theatres where the seating has been adjusted to fit more people, just like the airlines. The Haymarket actually has enough room for me to sit with both my legs together in front of me, instead of splayed out to accommodate a tiny amount of leg room.
Would have scored better, but they let people take drinks into theatre. Second half repeatedly disturbed by people having to go to the loo.

Excellent venue with great acoustics. Staff always very pleasant. Parking very convenient but wish council would maintain lifts more efficiently, particularly difficult for less able people with only one lift available on my last two visits. Concerts have been excellent and pre-concert talks are well worth attending.
Nice little concert hall: comfortable chairs, very friendly and helpful staff and overall a great place to visit. Would be 5 stars if I had more leg room; I only have little legs and even I became uncomfortable during the show as I did feel rather crammed in at times; I imagine it would be pretty unpleasant for tall people. But overall I really enjoyed my visit and would recommend to anyone. ☺
